Curious George Plush Toys Review

Everyone knows Curious George is the loveable, adventurous monkey in many books, movies and possibly the most popular PBS Kids TV show of all time. But if you didn't know that, now you do. Due to the enormous popularity of this fun loving monkey, there has been an explosion of Curious George plush toys. They make great gifts for any Curious George fan, young or old and they go great paired with a matching DVD or book.

There are many "classic" Curious George plush toys to choose from, with George in his red or yellow shirt but there are also ones that match some of our family's favorit episodes. In the show, "Curious George in the Dark", George loses his ball in a dark, spooky cave and he must be a brave monkey to go in and get it. Later when the power goes out at home, George makes the best of it with his flashlight and even teaches Jumpy the squirrel how to have fun with shadows. Now there is an adorable plush George to go along with this episode. It measures about 12" high and is from Jakks Pacific, a trusted name in kids toys. George even comes complete with his handy flashlight and Jumpy the squirrel.

In another favorite episode called "Roller Monkey", George gets a job roller skating in front of a store to attract customers, but of course George really needed more practice roller skating. It was a funny episode. This show has a matching Curious George plush toy featuring George in roller skates, elbow pads and his helmet. It is also about 12" high and comes from Jakks Pacific.

In "Doctor Monkey", George is at a routine visit at his doctor's office when suddenly, as only George can do, he finds himself treating his doctor's patients. Amazingly, he does an incredible job at it too! Russ has a 12" doctor Curious George plush toy that would make any fan happy. It features George in his white doctor's coat, a stethoscope, headband and even a black doctor's bag, for those all important house calls, you know.

There were a couple episodes where George rode into space as an astronaut, or is that astro-monkey? Regardless, they were funny shows. In "Grease Monkey in Space", the Man with the Yellow Hat is enlisted to help fix a telescope in space, as it turns out the scientists that built the telescope weren't thinking and it required someone with four hands to fix it. Well, that leaves no one but George! And in "Rocket Ride", George is asked to fly a rocket to deliver supplies to a space station. This Curious George plush toy is about 12" tall and features George in his space suit.
